Student Account Specialist
Seeking a customer-focused individual to assist in student account billing and payment processing. This front-desk position will coordinate counter services, perform daily cash out, answer and direct incoming telephone calls. In addition s/he will advise parents and students on student account matters and financial aid procedures, process student loan checks and other payments, and administer internal payment plans.
High school diploma and one to two years related experience including some cash handling or bookkeeping, Associate’s degree preferred. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills; the ability to work in a fast paced office environment; strong attention to detail; and skill in computer entry. This position is essential to our Bursar’s Office operations and as such, we seek a dedicated, experienced individual who is not adverse to learning new skills.
