Assistant Bursar - College of Graduate & Continuing Studies


Join our customer-focused financial services team. Responsibilities include maintaining day-to-day student account billing, refund and collection functions; analyzing student accounts for accuracy; advising students in financial aid and student account matters; and interpreting federal financial aid requirements and regulations. Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.


High School diploma and three-five years related experience, Associate’s degree preferred. Specialized knowledge of financial aid counseling and a solid working knowledge of cash handling, accounts receivable, and financial analysis pertaining to student accounts desired. Must have excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast pace office environment, strong attention to detail and skill in computer entry. Student account policy application and development, federal requirements and regulations, strong communication and analytical skills as well as proficiency in Excel and Word.
