Assistant Professor, Criminal Justice - Reopened Search
Description:
The Department of Justice Studies and Sociology invites applications for a tenure-track position in criminal justice at the assistant level, with the appointment beginning in fall 2012. Criminal Justice is the largest major at this private college with a Corps of Cadets and civilians. Applicants must be able to teach research methods and corrections. The position also offers opportunity to engage in applied research at the Vermont Center for Justice Research, the state criminal justice statistical analysis center administered in cooperation with the Department.
Requirements:
An earned doctorate (Ph.D.) in Criminal Justice or Criminology is preferred; however, an earned doctorate in Sociology or related social science field will be considered. All requirements for the doctoral degree must be completed at the time of appointment. Must be eligible for employment in the United States.
