Experimental Psychology Faculty

Description:

The Department of Psychology at Norwich University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Experimental Psychology at the Assistant Professor level beginning in July 2013.

We are seeking applicants with broad research-based training who can teach experimental design/statistics, and courses both within and outside the candidate's specialty area. We are especially interested in candidates who show potential for productive research involving students and who have a genuine interest in guiding students toward completion of a senior thesis. Our lab facilities include computer workstations, advanced eye-tracking, and EEG. Other responsibilities include student advising and active professional development through scholarship and service.

Requirements:

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in psychology by the first day of classes. A strong commitment to undergraduate teaching is essential. Candidates must be eligible to work for any employer in the U.S. Review of applications will begin 15 January 2013 and continue until the position is filled.
