Adjunct Faculty - French


The Department of Modern Languages at Norwich University, located in Northfield, VT, is seeking a part-time instructor in French to teach one section of a six-credit course in beginning French for both fall and spring semesters. The program in French has a very active French Club (Cercle Francophone) and a student exchange program with the École Spéciale Militaire de Saint-Cyr. Our students are also involved in French-language service projects with the VTARNG. Beginning courses are highly interactive.


Applicants should possess a minimum of a Master’s degree in French or an equivalent foreign degree in a related field and experience teaching French courses. Position requires native or near-native proficiency in French and English. Experience using French in Action is a plus. An annual contract with pro-rated benefits is available. Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
