Assistant Professor - Physical Education - UPDATED
Norwich University seeks a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor of Physical Education to begin employment July, 2013.
Responsibilities include teaching courses in elementary and secondary pedagogy, wellness, and adaptive physical education. Additional responsibilities include academic advising and supervision of students in student teaching and internships.
Qualifications: Doctorate in Physical Education Pedagogy or related field (ABD considered); knowledge of standards-based instruction and requirements for teacher licensure, and participation in professional organizations at the state and national level. Public school teaching experience in elementary physical education is required and university teaching experience in physical education pedagogy is preferred. Candidates must be eligible to work for any employer in the U.S.
