Assistant Director of Class Giving


The Class Relations Office at Norwich University manages annual giving and reunion giving programs. The Office will work with alumni, parents, and friends of the University to promote financial support for its strategic plans and mission.


Responsibilities include managing fundraising efforts for assigned classes; recruiting, training, developing and motivating volunteers; soliciting and stewarding prospect pool; and planning and implementing the Parents Fund, faculty and staff annual appeals, and the annual phonathan. In addition, will oversee the Senior Class Gift committee, work with the Director and Development Officers to identify and cultivate major gift prospects. This position requires some travel and event planning and attendance (some evening and weekends).


Bachelors Degree required, 2-3 years of fundraising experience in Higher Ed preferred; excellent writing, public speaking and customer service skills. Experience using Microsoft Office, Raiser’s Edge or other relational database, and Adobe Suite products.
