Systems Administrator - Virtual - Search Reopened
The current responsibility for this position will have an emphasis on the University virtual and physical systems to include but not limited to maintaining a secure, robust, reliable desktop environment. Maintain desktop software as required by ITS SLA with university. Ensure the most productive and efficient desktop environment as possible. Maintain virtual desktop infrastructure and physical desktop deployment methodology. Maintain a balance between end user satisfaction, software license requirements, and university information security. Work with the helpdesk on software/hardware procurement and customer satisfaction. Help the university attain and maintain IT 2019 goals and strategies. Must help to maintain any desktop operating systems that the university decides to support. Work with desktop software vendors on upgrades and license procurement.
