Assistant Director of Recruitment & Training
The Assistant Director’s primary duty is to recruit students, which includes managing regional recruitment activities and programs directed at prospective students, families and high school educators. The selected individual will be required to travel 5 to 6 weeks during the academic year, visiting high school JROTC units, while establishing relationships with JROTC unit Commanders and Career Counselors. Additional duties include assisting with pre-enrollment recruitment events such as Open Houses, Youth Leadership Conference Weekends, and other on and off-campus programs that attract high quality inquiries to the university. During the summer months the Assistant Director serves as Training Officer for our Future Leader Camps.
A college degree is preferred but consideration will be given for experience. Interested prior service non-commissioned officers are highly encouraged to apply, especially those with significant leadership, training, recruiting duty, and drill sergeant experience.
