Assistant Director of Prospect Research
New position in our Development & Alumni Relations Office – the Assistant Director of Prospect Research will assist in developing and implementing objectives for a strategic research and prospect development program in support of fundraising goals. S/he will conduct research to identify and qualify prospects; coordinate and serves as a primary liaison for specific areas, including Corporate and Foundation Relations and Class Giving; and coordinate prospect development efforts.
Bachelor's degree required, master’s degree preferred. Research, investigative, paralegal or similar training preferred. In addition, three to five years experience in a development or research related setting, higher education experience preferred. Experience with relational databases, specifically Raiser’s Edge, is highly desirable. Project management and research experience, including use of web based tools and Internet sources, essential. Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
