Assistant Director of Recruitment - Search Reopened

Description:

The Assistant Director of Recruitment and Training Officer is responsible for the yearly acquisition of a diverse blend of prospective students to meet the annual enrollment goals of the university. The Assistant Director assists with the management, supervision, and coordination of training plans, support facilities, personnel and equipment for all pre-enrollment activities to include open houses, Youth Leadership Conference Weekends, Service Academy Information Programs, student break recruitment, Future Leader Camp, the NH Civil Air Patrol Encampment, national and regional Drill Competitions, and JROTC high school visitations across the nation.

The Assistant Director travels approximately 5 to 8 weeks September through April visiting JROTC units in assigned states often in conjunction with other recruitment activities. He/she will plan and coordinate travel with the admissions staff and provide guidance to the Recruitment Team with regard to recruitment strategies. During May through August the Assistant Director serves as Training Officer for Future Leader Camp and is responsible for all program training, risk assessment, and safe conduct of all training events, as well as will assist with the administration, maintenance and upkeep of all training gear and supplies.

The Assistant Director is responsible for placing leads into the top of the Enrollment Funnel and will possess expertise in public speaking, administration, operational and personnel management, marketing, and admissions practices in higher education. The Assistant Director will assist with the management, administration and maintenance of records and/or files for all pre-enrollment activities, to include statistical analysis and reporting of all programs as assigned.

Requirements:

A Bachelors degree is required; military and/or five or more years of relevant experience with youth development programs is a plus. He/she should have a wide range of computer skills to include; MS/Word, Excel, Map Point, Power Point, Publisher, Visio and SCT Banner.
