Robert Piasecki earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut in 1978 and a master's degree from Boston University in 1983.
Following an internship with The New York Times in Boston, Robert decided to pursue a career as a newspaper reporter. He went on to work as an award-winning reporter, editor, and freelance writer for newspapers and publications in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, and New Hampshire for more than 20 years. Robert began teaching writing and literature part time at Lebanon College (N.H.) and later Norwich University and Vermont Technical College. Robert has been teaching composition and literature classes here at Norwich since the fall of 2004. He lives in Randolph, Vt., with his wife and two young children. During his spare time, Robert likes to garden, watch films, read depressing and confusing modern novels, and go for long walks with the family dog, Tessi.
