Tom Descoteaux, PhD, PE, has taught engineering mechanics and structural engineering for 25+ years.

He joined the Norwich University David Crawford School of Engineering in 2002. He previously taught at the University of Connecticut and Merrimack College and spent 10 years as a member of the civil engineering faculty at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Ind. At Norwich, Descoteaux teaches both engineering and architecture students and also serves as the program director for the university’s online Master of Civil Engineering program.
