Position/Function
The ADA/504 Advisory Council is described as following:
- A reviewing and recommending body to recommend policies to the President regarding disability compliance;
- A recommending body to make policy and procedural recommendations to standing committees overseeing academic and administrative affairs;
- A recommending body to make policy and procedural recommendations to managers and supervisors regarding accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities;
- And, a group of individuals available to the entire community to render confidential advice on matters of disability issues.
Reporting
This committee reports directly to the President, although it may provide advice directly to other individuals or committees.
