- Substance abuse education & prevention
- Take a look at substance abuse and its impact on your overall health with an assessment. Every new Norwich undergraduate student sees a few skits performed by the Guerilla Theatre Troupe that emphasize what to be on the lookout for during the first six weeks — which is the riskiest period for students adjusting to campus life. This office provides that troupe. For most new students, this is the first time on their own, and it’s easy to make bad decisions. This office works to provide you with a safety net. These are also the folks who bring you the Safe Rides program. If you and your friends overindulge and no one is safe to drive, or if you find yourself in a threatening situation with no way home, give Safe Rides a call and they’ll bring you back to Norwich. And rest assured, your participation is anonymous, and your privacy is our paramount concern.
