The AAC provides a broad range of services for students with disabilities including academic accommodations, assistive technology support, and individualized coaching. The AAC helps students complete the process of providing documentation that establishes their eligibility for disability support service; orients qualified students to their 504 plans and how to access their approved academic accommodations; provides training and information about assistive technology; facilitates communication with faculty, staff, and family members, with a student’s permission; provides academic coaching and counseling; and meets with students on an as-needed or regular basis. The AAC’s Disability Support Services program provides confidential, welcoming, and individualized resources for students with disability to help them achieve their academic goals and access University programs and activities.
