Capt. Andrew Peterson

Captain Andrew Peterson is the Unit Admissions Officer and an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies for the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps at Norwich University, Northfield Vermont. In this capacity, Captain Peterson recruits, trains, and motivates highly qualified young men and women as prospective officers and instructs the freshman-level course on the Foundations of the US Air Force.

Captain Peterson is a native of East Lyme, Conn. He enlisted in the USAF in 1991 and earned his commission in 2001 through Officer Training School. As a logistics officer, he has served in both field level and headquarters positions. Captain Peterson most recently served as the Chief of Air Transportation Transformation at Headquarters, Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois where he developed and implemented air transportation policy to meet the command’s transformational objectives.
