Undergraduate Bursar services

The Office of the Bursar is responsible for generating the student tuition bill, for administering the student health insurance program, for generating monthly statements and enforcing the University fees and financial policies. Services include check cashing, processing student refund checks, loan entrance and exit interviews, transcript and diploma releases and answering questions about your student account.

The account counselors of the Office of the Bursar are here to help students and parents with assistance in understanding your student account and ensuring that your financial responsibilities are met. They are available to assist you in person or by phone.

Installment Payment Plan

Norwich University is pleased to offer an interest-free installment payment plan to help undergraduate students and parents make their education affordable. The plan permits for payment of tuition, fees, room and board in monthly installments over the course of the semester instead of one lump sum.

Student Health Insurance

The Norwich University student health insurance plan provides coverage for illnesses and injuries that occur on and off campus and includes special cost-saving features to keep the coverage as affordable as possible. Norwich University requires that every full-time undergraduate student have medical insurance coverage — either a personal policy or the one offered above.

Until the Online Waiver Form is submitted and processed, students will remain enrolled in the student insurance plan and the cost of the plan will remain on their student account. NUpay — Online Billing or Payment Options

You will receive your student bills electronically. You can make electronic check or credit card payments through our NUPay service.

Tuition Insurance — the Tuition Refund Plan

Norwich University has arranged to offer the Tuition Refund Plan, through A.W.G. Dewar, Inc., to extend and enhance the University’s published refund policy. This elective coverage assures you a 100% tuition and fees refund for a withdrawal due to a medical illness or accident. For an enrollment form, visit www.collegerefund.com.

Sign my Perkins Loan

The Financial Planning Office awards Federal Perkins Loans. The loan will not disburse until the student completes a loan entrance interview and a promissory note, both done electronically. The student will receive an email from our Perkins Loan servicer, University Account Service (UAS), providing PIN information and instructing the student to visit SignMyLoan.com to complete the entrance interview and the promissory note.
