Women's Lacrosse: Hennessy Honored

VT - Norwich Women's Lacrosse midfield Kathleen Hennessy
(Essex Junction, VT) has been named to the New England Women's Lacrosse
Alliance (NEWLA) weekly Honor Roll.
Hennessy scored a pair of goals and collected four ground balls in Norwich's conference game at Worcester State. Hennessy is the leading goal scorer for the Cadets with four on the season.
"Kathleen has been playing very solid and fundamental lacrosse in the early stages of the season," said NU Head Coach Tyler Renaud. "Offensively, she is not afraid to attack the goal and take on the defenders, sometimes getting through two or three at a time. Defensively, she sees the field well and recovers quickly on opponent transitions."
Norwich is 1-2 on the season and will next be in action on Friday against Lasell College at 4 pm.
