Softball: Grennon Makes GNAC Honor Roll
Northfield, VT - Norwich Softball freshman Whitney Grennon
(Franklin, VT) has been named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference
(GNAC) weekly Honor Roll.
Grennon collected six runs and seven RBIs in 12 at-bats as the Cadets went 2-2 for the week. Grennon also logged one homerun and one double to go along with a .667 slug percentage.
"Whitney is a homerun threat every time she steps to the plate," said NU Head Coach Jackie Patts. Her opponents know it and therefore try to pitch around her."
Grennon leads Norwich in RBIs and homeruns with 29 and 11, respectively.
The Cadets are 13-5 overall and 8-2 in GNAC play. Norwich will travel to Daniel Webster on Saturday for a doubleheader starting at 12:00 noon.
