NU student sets sail on business venture
On May 22, NU Cadet and Business Major Canlin Frost '07 set sail from Cape Cod Mass., destined for Cape Canaveral, Fla. Part of an independent business project to promote Norwich University, the educational benefits of sailing, and his belief that challenge is the essence of growth, Canlin's voyage is sponsored in part by several businesses and companies across the country. Canlin stated that although these sponsorships have played a key role in the funding and success of his project, he would not have been able to accomplish it without broad community support. "In addition to your financial support and donations of equipment, your thoughts and prayers have truly helped to get this project off of the ground and into the water," Canlin said. The Norwich University Cemetery
There are many for whom "The Hill" is a home away from home, so it is not surprising that some choose Norwich as a final resting place. Known locally as "Dole Farm," the Norwich University Cemetery overlooks the campus and provides a beautiful setting in which to memorialize Norwich graduates, friends of the University, Trustees, Fellows, and other members of the Norwich community.
For more information or to secure a plot, please contact Priscilla Gilbert, Norwich University Cemetery Assn., 158 Harmon Drive, Northfield, VT 05663, 802.485.2742, or pgilbert@Norwich.edu.
The Ernest Harmon Memorial Wall
