Question of the Month:
Many current Norwich students are involved with volunteer community service projects, such as mentoring local young people, assisting with food drives, building low income housing, etc. We're interested in hearing about any project or incident in your memory in which Norwich students assisted the local community (or vice versa). Were you on an MCW mission that rescued someone? Did you provide assistance to a victim of a traffic accident? Help search for lost elderly? Work with a team to construct a neighborhood playground? If so, please tell us your story by emailing pubrel@norwich.edu.

War Whoop seeks alumni support
Great things are happening in the yearbook office this year. Our staff is bigger and better than ever and working hard to produce one of the biggest and best yearbooks Norwich has seen in years. The 2005 yearbook will be expanding from 100 pages to over 300 pages.
To assist in this effort, the yearbook staff is seeking alumni to show their support through paid advertisements. Funds raised will be used to purchase necessary equipment and to reduce the price of the yearbook. If you or your business might be interested in becoming a sponsor, please contact nuyearbook@norwich.edu to receive more information. Thanks for your support!

Calling all NU alums living in Virginia!
As you know, Virginia has a substantial number of special license plates - everything from lighthouses to universities. There is an initiative underway to create a new specialized VA license plate for Norwich University using the new logo, which will allow NU alums to display their affection for and affiliation with the University. We have already secured the approval of the University for this endeavor, but we need your commitment! Please add your name to the growing list of alumni and friends who have committed to purchasing a Norwich University VA license plate for their cars. We need 350 pledges in order for the plate to be cast! Print the form found online at the VA Department of Motor Vehicles, complete it, and return it, along with payment and email information as necessary, by 30 April 2005 to Megan Gray,
12307 Ox Hill Rd,
Fairfax, VA 22033.
For more information, contact Megan Gray at mgray@neworksolutions.com or Bill Altorfer at
