    • 1 Pair White Gloves

    Note

    All Rook issue items may not be available for immediate distribution.

    Rooks serving in the National Guard or reserve may bring equipment and uniforms required for weekend drills.

    Student athletes are required to wear a sports coat, dress shirt, tie, dress pants and shoes when traveling to an away game. Rooks who join a varsity team are permitted to bring the appropriate clothing.

    Cadet shoes and boots

    Shoes: These will be plain black leather or patent leather military style. The shoes will have a non-contrasting sole and normal standard heel. Rubber soles are recommended due to the climate in Vermont.
    Boots: Boots will be tan, military-style combat boots. All boots must lace up and may not have zippers. Cold-weather boots are recommended due to the climate in Vermont.

    Recruits with questions, or have difficulty finding the correct boot or shoe should contact the Cadet Uniform Store at 802-485-2206.

    Rooks are highly encouraged to wear and break in shoes and boots prior to arrival.

    Note

    Rooks with prior military experience may bring military-issue shoes.

    Recommended shoes and boots

    Shoes

    The shoes must be a low‐quarter black tie shoe. Leather or high gloss may be worn. For examples, visit Bates Footwear.

    Boots

    The boots must be a tan 8-inch Field Boot. No side zippers allowed. For examples, visit
