Emergency Communication Plan

The safety of Norwich faculty, staff and students is a University priority. Norwich utilizes a MIR3, mass notification system, which will advise the University Community via email, SMS (text messaging) and phone calls of any imminent threats or emergencies on campus.

In order to implement this system we need all incoming students to complete the MIR3 form. Please go to the MIR 3 link: www.mir3.com/nu and follow the instructions below:

  1. Hit "Create account" at the top right of the box.
  2. Enter your NORWICH email address (a new password for MIR3 will be sent to you).
  3. Retrieve the MIR3 password (from your Norwich email account).
  4. Go back to the MIR3 registration site and enter your new password.
  5. Fill in required fields and any other information you wish to include.
  6. Click confirm.
