Academic Regulations and the Honor Code

The academic regulations of Norwich University and the Honor Code apply to all summer session courses, except as modified below.

Grading and Academic Eligibility

The registrar will issue grades and determine academic standings three times during the summer at the conclusion of each of the Summer Sessions.

Course Changes and Catalog Listings

Courses and class hours for each session are scheduled as listed. See the University Catalog course descriptions section for full course descriptions and information about prerequisites.

Course Load

The normal course load is six to seven credits per regular session. Students who wish to register for more than seven credits per session must complete a written academic petition and submit it to the Registrar’s Office. Only one course will be permitted during the early session.
