BA in Psychology

Students majoring in psychology must fulfill the (1) bachelor of arts and the (2) general education requirements set forth in the course catalogue, with the following additions and restrictions:

  • Each of the following courses:
    • BI101, BI102, MA107 and
    • a non-psychology social science elective, and
  • In addition, students planning to pursue graduate work in psychology or medicine are advised to take other courses in math/sciences (e.g., MA108, MA121, MA122, CH103, CH104, PS201, PS202).
  • The following psychology courses with a grade of “C” or better:
    • PY402 Conferences
    • PY403 Presentation
  • Minor in another area
