Travelers should make reservations as early as possible to take advantage of advance purchase discounts. All air travel, lodging, car rental (with the exception of local, Central Vermont car rentals )and rail travel reservations including en route changes, must be booked through Milne Travel:
Travelers may use the 24-hour, toll-free Emergency Travel Center phone number 800 847-0242 for itinerary changes after normal business hours ONLY. This number appears on the itinerary accompanying each ticket that has been issued by Milne Travel. Your code for the emergency travel service is A-O22.
All employees expecting to travel at least twice per year should submit a completed traveler profile form to Milne Travel to ensure that pertinent details and preferences are adhered to in the reservation process. You will find that completing this traveler profile will make the reservation and travel experience easier.
You are responsible for informing Milne Travel of all personal travel information changes. This will include charge/credit card numbers, delivery address, phone number, title, medical restrictions, special meal requirements and seat preferences.
Whenever possible you will be issued an electronic ticket, commonly referred to as an e-ticket. E-tickets provide you with greater security in the event that a ticket should be lost or stolen. If you are issued an electronic ticket you will be given a confirmation number by the travel counselor and then faxed and/or mailed an invoice/itinerary from the booking agent. At the airport you will need to exchange the confirmation number for a boarding pass.
If you have forgotten or misplaced the confirmation number, proper identification must be presented. The passenger receipt will be sent to you via regular mail (note: the passenger receipt is for expense reporting documentation purposes only. You do not need this receipt to board the aircraft).
For assistance in obtaining visas/passports, you should contact the Milne Travel office.
