Administrative Memorandum 33 - Official Receptions, Entertainment and Hosting Events with University Funds

Purpose

University funds may be used to entertain official visitors of the University. In all cases, the Cabinet member in charge of the event will have approval authority. Guest lists should be modest.

Policy

The President is the official host of the University.

Responsibility

The Financial Affairs Office is responsible for administering the Corporate Credit Cards accounts.

Implementation/Guidelines

Official University entertainment of visiting officials, faculty, staff and other guests will be done by the President at the President's house or at other locations the President deems appropriate. Budgeted University funds are available for these events.
