Memorandum 15 - Printing and Publication Guidelines
[THIS POLICY IS OBSOLETE AND IS BEING UPDATED]
This policy attempts to create consistently high quality, cost-effective printing and publications in a timely manner to meet the University’s printing requirements.
All requests for printed material must be submitted to the University's contracted provider of printing services (currently L. Brown and Sons, Printing) for a cost estimate prior to engaging other printing services. Should alternative printing services prove more cost effective, they may be used.
Each operating department is responsible for assuring that printing requirements are contracted within the guidelines of this policy.
Services provided by L. Brown and Sons include the following:
- Operating the on-campus “Copy Center” in the Wise Campus Center and providing consultation on print jobs.
- Working with Norwich employees to discuss larger design/print jobs.
- Performing basic layout and design services for print jobs.
- Performing mass mailing of custom printed materials.
L. Brown and Sons will provide cost estimates for each of these services. Employees can contact L. Brown and Sons at:
