Memorandum 14 - Publications for Advertising or Promoting the University

  1. Purpose

    To ensure the development of consistently high quality publications for advertising or promoting the University.

  2. Policy

    Publications must reflect highly on Norwich University, be in good taste, serve a particular audience, and not duplicate another publication.

  3. Responsibility

    A Publications Committee is formed to review all publications and serve as a clearing house and approval authority for all changes, additions or deletions. The Committee members are: Commandant/VP of Student Affairs, Dean of Enrollment Management, Executive Director of External Affairs, Director of Public Relations, and Director of Publications and Norwich University Press and faculty members as required.

  4. Implementation/Guidelines

    The Senior Vice President is the focal point for requests for new publications, changes or deletions of existing ones. Submit requirements to this office and after review, the Publications Committee will meet for final action. For Vermont College documents, the Vice President for Vermont College should review proposals prior to submission to the Senior Vice President.
