higher purpose to the Solar Decathlon © Dec. 20, 2013, Norwich University Office of Communications
For two-and-a-half-years, more than 60 Norwich University students in several academic programs played a part in building the Delta T-90.
As competitors in the international 2013 Solar Decathlon competition, they were tasked with building an attractive, innovative solar house. It was an enormous undertaking, requiring contribution from students, faculty, alumni and community sponsors, and it "pushed our bandwidth," in the words of assistant architecture professor Matthew Lutz.
This video catches up with 18 students who accompanied the house to California in October 2013 for the competition.
