Winter brings a distinct feel to the Northfield, Vt., campus of Norwich University.

It is a time to revel in the possibilities of a fresh blanket of snow, or huddle in the library longing for the warmth and light of early spring. It is a season when crowds pack Kreitzberg Arena to support the hockey teams, students return refreshed from winter break, and members of the Corps of Cadets’ Mountain Cold Weather Company head to the hills to test their skills against the elements.

In this series of videos, we hope to capture the beauty and feel of the diverse New England seasons as they color and drive life on the campus of the country’s oldest private military college. Look for the next installment toward the end of spring 2011.
