Northfield, VT - Norwich won its sixth consecutive game with a 91-42 victory over Pine Manor College at Andrews Hall. The Lady Cadets (20-3, 9-2 GNAC) forced 29 turnovers and outrebounded the gators, 51-27. Pine Manor (8-14, 4-6 GNAC) was held to four points in the first ten minutes of the game as NU built up a 28-point lead. Norwich was held scoreless for the final 3:55 of the first half and led 343-20 at the break. In the second half, the Lady Cadets led by as many as 51 points and they outscored the Gators 57-22. The NU bench outscored the PMC reserves, 33-13.
Five Norwich players scored in double figures with Mirada Perras leading the way with 17 points. Liz Sliney topped Pine Manor with 12 points.
NU will close out its non-conference schedule on Tuesday at Johnson State, while the Gators will also venture outside the GNAC with a home game against Newbury College.
