Ecole SpÉciale Militaire de Saint-Cyr

On November 15, a group of French cadets attending Norwich as part of the University's student exchange with the Ecole Spéciale Militaire de Saint-Cyr spoke to freshmen and sophomore cadets about life in their homeland.

According to Norwich President Richard Schneider, The Norwich/Saint-Cyr exchange brings Norwich top quality students and allows Norwich students the opportunity to study in France.

"We live in a global society, and the diversity of international students on campus improves our intellectual climate immensely," Schneider said. "Likewise, our students at Norwich who attend St-Cyr benefit greatly from travel, and they broaden their perspective by experiencing other cultures, other militaries, and other languages."

At the November 16 event, held in Dole Auditorium, the Saint-Cyr cadets discussed life in the French Army, their travel, and the mission of their school.
