Ready, Set, Go! To Homecoming 2005!

Reunion classes are gearing up for a fabulous Homecoming Weekend 2005 as final details are released for the weekend class reunions on September 23-25.

Friday - Parade and Registration

NUCC color guardTry to arrive in time for the Corps of Cadets on Parade at 1:00 p.m. as we honor the Old Guard and the 50th reunion class. Later in the afternoon, meet up with your friends at the Homecoming Kickoff Reception, hosted by the NU Alumni Association in Plumley Armory from 4-6:00 p.m.. Plan to meet your classmates and friends to get reacquainted. Register and receive a nice gift, find out who has arrived, pick up information, and listen to the VP of Student Affairs and Commandant and others to find out what's new in the Corps of Cadets, Student Life, and Athletics.

Friday - New Event!

Among many new fun things to do that weekend, there will be a special Alumni Welcome Home Party Friday night at the Sugarbush Resort Conference Center with food, music and a great place to rally your classmates as they alumni partyarrive in Vermont for their weekend festivities. The fun starts at 7:00 p.m., with a cover charge of $5 per person. Anyone is welcome to attend and enjoy this inaugural event. Bring your Norwich spirit!

Friday - 1819 Circle and Old Guard

This year, we will celebrate the third annual 1819 Circle Reception and Dinner at the Capitol Plaza. During this dinner, individuals who have included Norwich in their will or estate plan will be recognized and thanked by President Richard W. Schneider. The Class of 1955 will also be welcomed into the ranks of the Old Guard. Although the Norwich Forever! Campaign will not be officially launched until the Partridge Society Luncheon on Saturday; the 1819 Circle holds a special place in the upcoming campaign with a target goal of $5.5 million! Help us to reach that goal by joining the 1819 Circle and celebrating at this wonderful dinner!

Saturday - A Full Schedule!

class check presentationsSaturday will commence with the Harmon Wall Ceremony at 9:00 a.m. followed by the Alumni Parade on Sabine Field at 10:00 a.m., where we will honor classes with years ending in "0" and "5" and recognize our special NUAA alumni award recipients. Immediately following will be the Partridge Society, All-Class Luncheon and Campaign Kick-Off in Kreitzberg Arena. Reservations are required; call 802.485.2308 for information. Gather on Sabine Field at 2:00 p.m. when NU Cadets Football Team will host Plymouth State, with celebration to follow at the NUAA Goal Post Party in Plumley. That evening, reunion classmates will gather throughout central Vermont for an evening of fun, fellowship and Class Reunion Dinners in true Vermont autumn weather.
