Every semester, Dole auditorium is the site for the Pegasus Players to showcase their dramatic talents in front of the student body.

Plourde photo of Pegasus Players rehearsalWith Professor Helen Caudhill on sabbatical leave this semester, the Pegasus Players had to find someone new to fill the shoes of their director. Jeanne Beckwith has taken the reigns, this semester, and the production is going to be great.

This year, the Pegasus Players are performing How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, a musical based on the book by Abe Burrows, with music and lyrics by Frank Loesser.

Plourde photo of Pegasus Players rehearsalHow to succeed is one of only seven musicals to have won the Pulitzer Prize. A professional production has been highly praised in recent years, due to the addition of Matthew Broderick in the lead role.

The production brings us into a world of business, where backstabbing and immoral behavior are around every corner.

The songs attack the system because of its cruelty and how it makes people forget what it's like to be human.

Everyone in the Pegasus Players have been working extremely hard. The play will be presented April 8, 9, and 10 in Dole Auditorium.
