Summer Programs
Procedure
Enrollment and Registration for On-Campus Courses
The summer course schedules display the courses offered. For detailed course information, download the University Catalog courses section.
Download and complete a separate summer registration form for each summer session during which you’d like to take a course. The form will require you to estimate the cost of the registration you’ll need to pay prior to the start of the course. Use the bursar’s summer worksheet to determine cost. Return the worksheet with your registration form. All financial obligations for summer sessions must be paid two weeks prior to the start of a summer session, which is also the deadline for registration. Visit this site’s tuition page for more information.
Registration for Distance Learning Courses
A student must obtain approval of the instructor to enroll in a distance learning course. To enroll, contact the instructor. You will need the signature next to the course on your registration form before the Registrar’s Office will complete the registration process and secure your seat in the course.
Summer Course Load
The normal course load is 6–7 credits per summer sessions I, II or III. Only one course is permitted during the “Early” session. Students who wish to register for more than 7 credits must download, complete, and return an academic peition form for approval by the CASD. For help completing the academic petition, download the academic petition instructions.
